Eagle Island is situated in the outer reaches of Casco Bay can be accessed by tour boat out of Portland Harbor or private boat. I have been there many times over many summers. It was Admiral Peary's summer home and is a wonderful place. This is the entrance to his former home, now a Maine State Park and with assistance from the Friends of Eagle Island .
